Staerk Outdoor Furniture

Staerk means Strong in Danish.

This furniture range goes back a long time, to Nik’s time in Denmark with his childhood buddy, Soeren. They had sourced some old bridge beams in oak, heavy as a freight train but beautiful as only aged and worn timber can be. Equipped with a chain saw and a bunch of great ideas, the Staerk range came to life.

Here in New Zealand, the timber most suitable for the sturdy series is tōtara, which has an incredible lifespan in the outdoors.
