Renovation in Mangonui

A beautiful character villa had welcomed new owners with new ideas and requirements. As the villa had been relocated about 10 years ago but not ideally positioned on the new site, the new owners wanted to change a few things to fully appreciate the surroundings. The task was to increase the size of the main living space and open up towards the stunning harbour views while being in keeping with the building’s original style.

The main living space was extended to increase both vista and sun intake while adding a few contemporary twists.

The projects gradually evolved in close collaboration with the owners who made good use of the provided 3D model to test their ideas.
